Gothic Fantasy Fairy Tale Artist

     I am a Self representing Artist specializing in Gothic Fantasy Fairy Tale art. 

I Love the things that are a tad bit askew and I try to make my art feel the same way.  I love surealism,  Salvador Dali,

 Roald Dahl,

Tim Burton, Dr. Seuss, 

Terry Gilliam ,Willy Wonka,  Alice in Wonderland they all have a certain tilt on reality. Not dark  but a kind of year round Halloween vibe. I have been painting for most of my life, (over 25 years) and I graduated College with an art degree. I prefer painting, but I do work with anything, from pencils to clay. I love animation, painting, drawing, Japanese anime, Fairies, Fantasy and mystical creatures.

I wish Disney would release more animated films. I like the Pixar stuff but give us at least one hand drawn feature! I love castles and mid evil themes. When I paint I usually listen to music or watch movies. I  don't watch too much TV but I wait for the shows to come out on DVD, so I'm a little behind the newest shows. I have been watching FRINGE. That so is so awesome. That last episode was too much!  I love the Simpsons, Lost, Roseanne, 70's show, Sienfeld,and any funny sarcastic shows. I listen to Kings of Leon, Dave Mathews, Tori Amos, The Killers, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Classic Rock, Heart, Led Zeppelin, Sublime. Other interests include: Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (Gene Wilder version), Edgar Allen Poe, Halloween, World of Warcraft, Time Bandits, Lord of the Rings, Stardust, Magic, The Wizard of Oz, Pink Floyd, Nintendo, The Color Purple, Braveheart, Disney, The Simpsons, Star Trek, Harry Potter, Bob Marley,  candles, pumpkins, Cartoons, Autumn. I do commissions, so feel free to ask.
